Oladipo Kalejaiye received the Federal Government of Nigeria's National Merit Award to study law at the University of Ife, Nigeria. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in 1981, and the Barrister at Law (BL) professional qualification from the Nigerian Law School in 1982. In 1984, he received the German Academic Exchange Service Award of the Federal Republic of Germany to pursue a post-graduate degree at the famous Max Planck Institute for Foreign and Private International Law, University of Hamburg, which he completed in 1989 with the obtainment of a doctorate degree in Foreign and Private International Law. In 1990, he co-established the Law Offices of Kalejaiye, Prest, & Ogbogbo and later Kalejaiye & Co., Barristers and Solicitors in Lagos, Nigeria. After his ordination as a minister of the gospel in 1993, together with his wife, he founded a church in the predominantly Muslim town of Epe in the outskirts of Lagos and pastored the church for three years.
He emigrated with his family into the United States in 1996 where he provided spiritual leadership to many churches in America and abroad. In 1997, Dr. Kalejaiye passed the California bar exam and set up his law practice, Law Office of Dr. Oladipo Kalejaiye on Wilshire Blvd., in Los Angeles. In 1999, he and his wife founded the International Christian Center, Los Angeles (ICCLA). By 2000 it became evident that he could no longer function in both callings with full commitment. After waiting on the Lord, the couple became fully persuaded that it was time for Dr. Kalejaiye to enter into full-time ministry.
Since 2000, he has continued to minister full-time. He is blessed with four children.
